The K-1 Visa is used by a U.S. Citizen to petition for his or her fianc?e to come to the U.S. to marry and reside here.

The following requirements are necessary to obtain a K-1 Visa:
1. U.S. citizen must petition for foreign fiancee;
2. Marriage must take place within ninety days.
